HIGHLIGHTS

REGGIA DI CASERTA
Inspired by the Palace of Versailles, it is the largest Royal Palace in the World, with 5 floors and 1,200 rooms. The huge park is famous for the cascades and fountains so impressive that it has been the set for major films such as Star Wars and Mission Impossible.

MONTICCHIO LAKES
Formed in the crater of an extinct volcano that ceased activity half a million years ago, the two lakes are also called the “Vulture Twins”. The reserve is also home of the Abbey of San Michele Arcangelo, built over an ancient cave church.

CALTAGIRONE
Known as well as “The City of Ceramics”, the people of Caltagirone already produced pottery ten centuries before Christ. The Old Town will amaze the visitors with its architecture and traditions.
